Darrell Bosch |
Darrell Bosch grew up on a farm in Minnesota and spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer working in agriculture in Belize, Central America. After receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Professor Bosch joined the faculty in 1984. His current research interests include risk analysis, environmental amenities in agriculture, drinking water infrastructure, watershed management, and aquaculture. In 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar in Montpellier, France at LAMETA, a research center affiliated with the French National Institute for Agricultural Research and the University of Montpellier. There he studied European policy approaches to providing environmental amenities from agriculture. He teaches graduate courses in applied microeonomic theory and research project planning and undergraduate courses in watershed management and quantitative methods for applied economics.
