Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics Undergraduate Scholarships
Scholarships are available at the University, College, and Department levels. Information on University scholarships is available in the University catalog, in materials sent to prospective students, and on the University's web site.
There are a number of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences scholarships available to Agricultural and Applied Economics (AAEC) students. Some are available to incoming freshmen, primarily on a merit basis. Stipends for College scholarships range up to $5,000 per year, and over $275,000 is allocated annually.
The Agricultural and Applied Economics department offers 15 scholarships annually with a total value of nearly $15,000. Scholarships are awarded annually at a prestigious spring semester banquet. The department also employs a number of students eligible for financial aid under the University's work-study program, giving students a chance to work with faculty and staff on an up-close and personal basis. A majority of our students receive financial help in some form, with the growing number of merit-based scholarships providing special incentives to students.
